Sasha & Geoffrey's Amazing Wedding Day

Sasha and Geoffrey truly put together an amazing day of celebration for their special wedding day. For a couple that didn't use a coordinator at all, this was the most detailed and beautifully organized wedding day I have perhaps ever had the pleasure to capture. Their wedding was in early September.

The couple started off with their ceremony at the Orthodox Church of St. John the Russian in Ipswich, MA. This added a beautiful cultural context to the ceremony in a stunning space. The week before I had scouted around the area to find the perfect place to photograph Sasha and Geof after their ceremony, and found a great wetland area a short drive away. We shot for about 20 minutes there before heading onwards to Exeter, NH to Geoffrey's parent's farm for the reception. Sasha rode in on a beautiful horse with Geof walking by their side. Upon entering the reception the lovely couple did a surprise duet and dance for their guests.

The whole theme of their day seemed to center around whimsical fun though it was beautifully orchestrated. Sasha hopped in the tire/tree swing for a great photo and during dusk I took the two of them over to the red barn for a final intimate portrait.
