Lindsay & Sean's Dream Nantucket Wedding

Lindsay & Sean truly put together a dream wedding on Nantucket. They may have had a little help with knowing so many people to work with on the island, after living on Nantucket for more than 10 years now.  Lindsay and Sean both have an amazing eye for colors; both run their own landscaping companies on Nantucket. They planned their wedding for late September this year and went with vibrant fall colors as their theme, bringing together the changing bramble and thicket colors of the early fall colored island. Lindsay and her dear friend Amy put together all the flower arrangements for the day.

They started off with a simple but lovely ceremony & champagne toast at Miacomet beach on the south shore. Sean & Lindsay were driven in a 1930’s Yellow Taxi to their reception in Tom Nevers overlooking the bluffs and the ocean. Along the way we stopped on a side road to use the amazing light and scenery to create some fantastic portraits.

The couple relaxed for about 15 minutes before we created family and bridal party portraits finishing with just Sean and Lindsay on the beach at dusk. They had a beautiful tent just up from the bluff for their reception, fresh cracked oysters and clams, champagne, open bar, and a fire pit for s'mores. Just to top it off, they had the phenomenal band from Seattle, the Dusty 45’s. Needles to say, even before the flaming trumpet came out, dancing was constant on the floor. All of this was capped off by fireworks off the beach at midnight.

I hope you enjoy the images from this amazing wedding. To see more, comment and or share check out my facebook page for this wedding or go to this wedding gallery at WECPhotosSmugMug.
